At every age, a comprehensive eye examination is important. At Sackville Optometry this includes checking vision, binocular vision status, ocular health and addressing your concerns.

Accessible Eye Care

We made it our mission to ensure mobility was not a limiting factor to having a comprehensive eye exam. With our mobile exam chair and hand held technology we can ensure everyone gets the same quality of care.

Our Optometrist

Dr. Ashley Taweel (she/her)

Dr. Taweel was born and raised in Dartmouth, NS and is proud to come from the lineage of the “PEI Taweels”. In 2014, she earned her BSc with Honours in Chemistry from Mount Allison University and then graduated on the Dean’s Honours list with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2018. Dr. Taweel has practiced in her home province since graduation and looks forward to continuing to provide comprehensive eye exams in an open and inclusive environment. When Ashley is not at the office, she is spending time with her dog, Petey, or trying her hand at DIY projects.
